Reynosa: Catch The Best Attractions

I found the people of Reynosa to be very friendly. Situated on the bank of Rio Grande River, it is across the Mexico-United States border. It is a popular tourist destination and is frequented by people from all over the world. If you are in Texas, Reynosa is just a couple hours of drive. I found the city to be an amalgamation of historical monuments and spectacular churches. There are various places to explore and spend some time. Here are some of the best places that you can visit.

  • Experience the natural beauty of Quinta Mazatlan

Quinta Mazatlan is the called the world birding center. I found different species of bird here. You will not spot them easily anywhere in the country. Plain Chachalacas is a bird that you can spot in the palm tree. You will also spot Common Pauraques. Olive Sparrows, Buff-bellied Hummingbirds, and Green Jays are some of the common species of birds that you will find in here. Hike in the paradise of nature. This is just the appropriate place if you are traveling with your kids.

  • Explore the history museum

Developed in an old conventional manner of placing large stones over one another, the museum had been developed in the 19th century. This was an old house that had been converted into a museum. Since then it has opened its gate to the common people. I found many things of historical significance like archaeological structure, antique furniture, ancient weapons, traditional utensils, and several photographs.

  • Spend some time at Reynosa Cathedral

Reynosa Cathedral is a must-visit attraction. This is no doubt, an architectural magnificence. Developed in a neo-classical style is the main attraction. There is an adjoining church to the capital that is equally beautiful. If you want to spend some quiet time like me, visit this cathedral.
